[Correspondence] Europe to take up brain disorders challenge

We read with interest the recent editorial on the 2013 European Month of the Brain. The European Parliament (EP) pays special attention to mental health and neurological problems, particularly in this time of economic downturn. In 2010, an EP interest group on mental health was launched to advocate for the development of sound European Union (EU) policies to contribute to the prevention of brain disorders.
