[Comment] Do preclinical Alzheimer's disease criteria work?

Increasing attention is being paid to the identification of people at risk for Alzheimer's disease (AD) at the earliest possible stage. To that end, criteria for the putative prodromal stages of AD were developed by a working group of the National Institute on Aging and the Alzheimer's Association (NIA-AA). The rationale for this approach was, in part, based on the model proposed by Jack and colleagues regarding the hypothetical sequence of events that probably occur as the AD pathophysiological and clinical events unfold.
