Reducing the risk of sudden death during epilepsy monitoring

[Comment] Reducing the risk of sudden death during epilepsy monitoring
The Lancet Neurology

Premature mortality is a major part of the burden that epilepsy imposes on the individual. In people with chronic epilepsy, sudden unexpected death in epilepsy (SUDEP) is the major culprit for this mortality. A major reason for this lack of knowledge is that SUDEP almost invariably is an unwitnessed event.
